Christmas comes early in the Live Music Show Capital of America and, beginning November 1, Branson celebrates Ozark Mountain Christmas.

Due to unprecedented demand for tickets, Cirque du Soleil has added 3 additional weeks of performances to the San Francisco engagement of OVO. The final OVO performance in San Francisco will be January 24, 2010, under the blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau at the AT&T Park.

Cirque du Soleil is pleased to announce that it will hold the U.S. premiere of its latest big top touring production OVO in San Francisco on Friday, November 27, 2009 and on Thursday, February 4, 2010 in San Jose.

Set in the summer of 1937, this story draws on Neil Simon's own experiences growing up in a lower-middle-class family in Brighton Beach, New York. Fourteen year-old Eugene Jerome stands in for the author as the play's narrator, a young boy dealing with his own burgeoning sexual awareness while dreaming of playing baseball for his beloved New York Yankees.

New York's premier play festival, the Summer Play Festival (SPF), is partnering with London's Donmar Warehouse for the fifth year in a row to create an international playwriting program for emerging writers. The Donmar Warehouse / SPF Residency Program brings together professional theatre makers from the highly acclaimed Donmar to work with selected SPF playwrights in a focused collaboration of classroom experiments, workshops, and rehearsals, culminating in a full reading of their play. The writers will spend up to three weeks in London becoming immersed in the local theatre scene, and exchanging ideas and techniques with professional artists. The Donmar staff will guide and support the writers throughout their time in London, offering them a unique insight into the dynamics and complexities of the British theatre industry.

Upright Cabaret producers/hosts Chris Isaacson and Shane Scheel proudly present Broadway star and Los Angeles native Eden Espinosa in her first solo effort entitled EDEN ESPINOSA - ME to be directed by Broadway & recording star Billy Porter with Ben Toth taking over Music Direction. During the last month of Wicked's run at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, where she is currently starring as Elphaba, Espinosa will take off the green to perform four solo concerts which will feature a different special guest each night. The Warren, RI theater finishes up it summer with a light, breezy comedy
