Photo Flash: Barbara Van Orden Plays Catalina's

After a an extended absence from the stage, due to the highly publicized accident that resulted in 18 surgeries, Ms. Barbara Van Orden brought her autobiographical cabaret act to Catalina's in Los Angeles this week. Ms. Van Orden began her singing career in the Catskill mountains at Grossinger's, where she opened for individuals such as Milton Berle, Don Rickles and Red Buttons. 'It was a great way to break into show biz,' says Barbara.

Musical Theatre Guild Continues Season with FANNY, 11/14

The award-winning Musical Theatre Guild, a company of professional performers who present concert-staged readings of seldom seen musicals, will continue their 16th season with the 1954 musical FANNY. The performance will take place on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 7:30 PM at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale.

CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY Launches New Season at the Triad, 10/3

The Drama Desk Award-winning Celebrity Autobiography returns to the Triad Theater for a new season with a new edition, Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter, beginning Monday, October 3. Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter will play five performances throughout October-Monday, October 3 at 7pm; Monday, October 10 at 7pm; Saturday, October 15 at 7pm; Monday, October 24 at 7pm; and Monday, October 31 at 7pm-at the Triad Theater, 158 West 72 Street.

THE JUDY SHOW Extends at the DR2 Through 11/27

The Judy Show - My Life As A Sitcom, the new comedy starring Judy Gold, will extend its limited engagement at Off-Broadway's DR2 Theatre (103 E 15th Street). Due to critical and popular success of the show, producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price have announced that the engagement has been extended through November 27th. This marks the second time The Judy Show has been extended since the show opened on July 7th.

ANIMATION DOMINATION Comes to FOX This Fall, 9/25

ANIMATION DOMINATION kicks off this fall with a star-studded lineup of guest voices on returning favorite animated series THE SIMPSONS, THE CLEVELAND SHOW, FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN DAD premiering Sunday, Sept. 25 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
