The Judy Show - My Life As A Sitcom, the new comedy starring Judy Gold, will extend its limited engagement at Off-Broadway's DR2 Theatre (103 E 15th Street). Due to critical and popular success of the show, producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price have announced that the engagement has been extended through November 27th. This marks the second time The Judy Show has been extended since the show opened on July 7th.

Judy Gold returns to the stage in this hilarious look at her life through the lens of the classic sitcoms of her youth. With multimedia, original music, laughter, and love, Judy shows us how she balances family and ambition with a little help from our favorite TV shows of the Seventies, Eighties, and Nineties. Judy Gold, the much-loved star of stage and TV, was recently seen Off-Broadway in Love, Loss, and What I Wore, as well as her critically acclaimed long-running hit show 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother. She is the star of HBO's At the Multiplex with Judy Gold and seen regularly on The View, The Joy Behar Show, Comedy Central, LOGO and VH1.

The Judy Show - My Life As A Sitcom opened to rave reviews with The New York Times calling the show "Brash, buoyant, and infectiously nostalgic. Highly entertaining!" and the Huffington Post calling it "comedic gold. A funny and fantastic ride! It's the ultimate laughter-through-the tears tale."

The Judy Show features original music by Judy Gold and lyrics by Judy Gold and Kate Moira Ryan (25 Questions for a Jewish Mother). Additional Material by Eric Kornfeld and Bob Smith. The Judy Show is produced in association with Jamie Cesa, Lynn Shaw, Tom Smedes, Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman. Directed by Amanda Charlton (Caroline in Jersey, Dissonance), The Judy Show features a scenic and projection design by Andrew Boyce, lighting design by Paul Toben, sound design by Alex Neumann and Janie Bullard. Emily DeAngelis is the stylist.

"Can September get any better? Carnegie Deli named the Gold E. Lox sandwich after me, I got to kick off the League of Professional Theater Women's 30th birthday in Time Square and my favorite TV mom, Florence Henderson came to The Judy Show - and took me to dinner afterwards," said Judy Gold. "And now to find out we're extended - I'm ferklempt! I called my mother to tell her and she said, "That's nice, Judith. Wasn't Joy Behar so funny on ‘The View' this morning?"

The Judy Show talkback series, "To be Continued..." also continues with the following guests:

October 4th: Frank DeCaro (Sirius Radio)

October 11th: Bruce Vilanch ("Hollywood Squares," Hairspray)

October 12th: Sherri Shepherd ("The View")
