JUNKYARD DOG PRODUCTIONS and THE MUSICAL COMPANY celebrated the release of the original Broadway cast recording of Come From Away with a special in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble. Creators Irene Sankoff and David Hein will be joined by the Come From Away cast: Petrina Bromley, Geno Carr, Jenn Colella, Joel Hatch, Rodney Hicks, Kendra Kassebaum, Tony Award nominee Chad Kimball, Lee MacDougall, Caesar Samayoa, Q. ???????Broadway singer and actress D'Vorah Bailey returns with her solo cabaret show, Wishful Thinking, at The Metropolitan Room on Saturday, April 29 at 7:00 pm.

The Canadian-written new musical COME FROM AWAY, a sold-out smash hit in Toronto and newly opened to great reviews and sold-out houses on Broadway, is set to take Winnipeg by storm, filling in the much-anticipated Royal MTC Mainstage Slot Three for the 2017/18 season.

'Rainbows & Ribbons' a new show by Ross Hewitt will be presented at Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street, NYC this week on Saturday, March 25 at 5:00 pm. It is a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids and ALL proceeds will go the the organization. Musical director for the production is Phil Hall. The cover is only $20.00 and there is a 2 drink minimum. Information and reservations can be made by calling (212) 757-0788.

The new Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY has announced that a limited number of $38 general rush tickets (including the $2 facility fee) will be available at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre box office (236 West 45th Street) when it opens for that day's performance(s). The McGill Savoy Society will be presenting Gilbert and Sullivan's THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE  at Moyse Hall, McGill Arts Building, 555 Sherbrooke Street West from February 10, 2017 through February 18, 2017.

LEAH, THE FORSAKEN is a tale of forbidden love, treachery, and redemption from 1862. Leah, a Jewish refugee fleeing persecution in Hungary, is forbidden by law to pass the night in an Austrian town. But there she wins the love of Rudolf, a Christian citizen. When a particularly zealous persecutor convinces Rudolf she has betrayed him, he quickly renounces her. Leah retreats to her exile, but only after bestowing her and her people's curse on him and his progeny. Can there be any light in such a darkened time, and what could possibly light it?

Earlier this year, producers for The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the area's only year-round producing dinner theatre, announced the lineup of shows for its 2017 Season. Kicking off 2017's blockbuster year, will be the hilarious pirate farce, The Pirates of Penzance, opening in January.

About Face Theatre is pleased to announce casting for its Chicago premiere of THE TEMPERAMENTALS, Jon Maran's Off-Broadway hit about America's first LGBT rights organization, directed by Artistic Director Andrew Volkoff.
