BWW Review: REYKJAVIK at Rorschach Theatre

You may be forgiven if the phrase 'romantic getaway' doesn't immediately inspire images of Iceland and, though it features several couples, Steve Yockey's 'Reykjavik' is unlikely to change your mind. What it will do is give a momentary, and at times uncomfortably intimate, glimpse into the relationships of these couples as paths intersect and unwind in the titular city. It is a haunting and disorienting ride you won't want to miss.

Lee Wilkof & More Join Cast of Public Theater's SOCRATES

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced complete casting today for the world premiere of SOCRATES, written by acclaimed actor, director, and writer Tim Blake Nelson. Directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes and anchoring the Onassis Festival 2019: Democracy is Coming, SOCRATES will begin previews on Tuesday, April 2, with a Joseph Papp Free Preview performance on Wednesday, April 3 in The Public's Martinson Hall. This powerful new play runs through Sunday, May 19, with an official press opening on Tuesday, April 16.

Noël Coward's HAY FEVER Extended At Florida Repertory Theatre

Emma Ruth Rundle Announces Tour with Thou, MONO

After promising a myriad of new developments throughout 2019, Sargent House artist Emma Ruth Rundle has begun unveiling her grand plans for the new year. The first of many is a batch of solo sets in support of Thou in March and April. The three-week jaunt will also include collaborative sets in select cities, as well as a special set at Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands. Later, Rundle will spend the month of May touring alongside post-rock titans MONO in North America. A full tour itinerary can be found below.

CATCH THE FEVER Sends Children To BTG PLAYS! Summer Camp

Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) presents Catch the Fever: An Evening with Fabrizio and the Fever at The Colonial Theatre on Friday, May 17 at 7pm. All proceeds go towards sending children to BTG PLAYS! summer camp through the Richie duPont Scholarship Fund. There will be a special guest performance by Carl Wockner.
