Atlanta's K Michelle DuBois Pays Tribute To Neil Young On New 'Harness' LP

Atlanta-based indie pop artist K Michelle DuBois has announced 'Love and Only Love' as her latest single off the new 'Harness' LP, her third solo release. In the accompanying video, directed and edited by Laurie Garner, she spells out her own interpretation of Neil Young's classic 'Love and Only Love' against a backdrop of Sedona, Arizona.

BOSTON CALLING 2019 Announces Day-to-Day Lineup and Single Day Tickets

Boston Calling, celebrating its 10th edition this year, announced its day-to-day lineup today with Single Day tickets going on sale this Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:00AM EST. The acclaimed music festival, taking place this Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 – 26, 2019, at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, MA, will deliver more than 55 performances across its four stages. Alt-rock superstars Twenty One Pilots will headline Boston Calling on Friday, May 24; Australian rockers Tame Impala will lead the bill on Saturday, May 25, and hip-hop phenom and recently announced Super Bowl LIII halftime performer Travis Scott will close out Boston Calling on Sunday, May 26. Single Day tickets will go on sale on Thursday, January 24 at 10:00AM EST at www.bostoncalling.com. All performance times will be revealed at a later date.

Victory Gardens Theater continues its 44th season with the Chicago Premiere of Cambodian Rock Band, written by Lauren Yee, featuring songs by Dengue Fever and directed by Marti Lyons. Cambodian Rock Band runs April 5 May 5, 2010, with press performance on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7:30pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue. Victory Gardens is also pleased to announce a partnership with Lincoln Hall to present Dengue Fever in concert on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

Methel Ethyl Share Single And Video for TRIP THE MAINS Off Forthcoming Album

Late last year, Australian pscyhe-pop band Methyl Ethel announced their forthcoming album, Triage out next month on 4AD. Today, they share the single and accompanying video for 'Trip The Mains.' 'It's got a sharp, '80s new wave-ish backdrop, but main member Jake Webb brings it into the now with a catchy vocal performance that fans of MGMT and Phoenix might dig,' said Brooklyn Vegan. Webb says of the track, 'behind every eye-twitch, a depleted mainframe barely pulses. 'Trip The Mains' is my moment of short circuiting.' The video features Webb suspended in time, defying the laws of gravity, and crashing into beds in this abstract fantasy directed by Matt Sav.

Ar'mon & Trey Unleash A New Cinematic Visual For Their RIGHT BACK Remix

Today, rising R&B duoAr'mon & Trey released the official music video for their dynamic 'Right Back' Remix featuring breakout rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again. The original single, which was released back in October after garnering the top spot on Ar'mon & Trey's flop or bop vlog, spawned the viral #rightbackchallenge where fans joined in to create their own versions of the song using the track's instrumentals. The initiative generated thousands of posts and comments on Instagram and inspired many others to adopt the concept on YouTube. Tony Hawk Set To Develop Musical Adaptation Of the Novel SLAM, Aiming For Broadway in 2020

Producers Anita Greenspan and Tony Hawk with Executive producer Adam Zotovich announced today that a new musical adaptation of the 2007 Nick Hornby novel, SLAM, is in development. This new project will feature a book by Tony Award Nominee Kyle Jarrow (SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical) with music and lyrics by Mark Mothersbaugh (prolific film composer, co-founder of new wave band Devo). Pro-skater Tony Hawk, who is featured as a character in the novel, is a producer on the project and is slated to develop skate choreography.
