The Best of Broadway gathered at the Golden Theatre last night, October 6, to celebrate the arrival of Slave Play, the acclaimed new play by Jeremy O. Harris, directed by Robert O'Hara, opens tonight, October 6, at Broadway's Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).

San Fermin Share New Album 'The Cormorant I'

Brooklyn-based art pop project SAN FERMIN today release their new album THE CORMORANT I via Better Company, bandleader Ellis Ludwig-Leone's new imprint under Sony Music Masterworks. Envisioned as the first of a two-part album release, The Cormorant I ushers in a new era for San Fermin and sets the tone for the overall project, which will include an eventual counterpart to be released next year. Described by Ludwig-Leone as both a 'stand-alone narrative in itself' as well as 'the first piece of a larger two-part story,' The Cormorant I is available everywhere now.

Alternative Rock Band QU!ET Announces Upcoming Single 'Halo'

Long Island-based alternative rock band QU!ET have announced the upcoming release of their new single 'Halo,' available on all digital platforms October 11th, 2019. After undergoing a complete rebrand in the beginning of the year, QU!ET has evolved through trial and error, finding their guitar-driven sound through much experimentation. 'Halo' is a personal and honest testament to their evolution - the track is their most poised and captivating song to date. BWW Review: MAMMA MIA! at Sioux Empire Community Theatre

I had the chance to catch the SECT season opener, Mamma Mia!, last weekend and it was sensational! The cast, a great mixture of high energy women and men ranging in age from young 20 and 30-something newcomers to some SECT theatre mainstays, all came together and blew the roof off the Orpheum with this tribute to the Swedish mega-hit band. You can't help but sing (and dance) along to every song, because you know them all by heart.

Chantitown Releases New Single 'Strong In Broken Places'

British folktronica singer-songwriter and producer Chantitown has released her new single 'Strong In Broken Places' on 20 September, taken from her upcoming EP, Camouflage to be released 11 October.
