Bergen County Players to Present ENCHANTED APRIL

Bergen County Players, NJACT's 2015 Community Theatre of the Year, continues its 83rd season with Matthew Barber's Enchanted April. Directed by longtime member, Iris Weinhouse of Hillsdale, this romantic comedy will run from March 19, 2016 through April 16, 2016 at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. Show times are 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 pm on Sundays. Tickets are $21 for evening performances and $17 for matinees.

Michigan College to Host Human Figure Art Exhibition Combining Paint and Sculpture

Texas artists and husband/wife duo, Dana Younger and Felice House, announced today the opening of art exhibition SUM YOU SOME ME on January 17th in partnership with Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The duo was initially suggested to the Aquinas faculty and gallery director, Dana Freeman, for review by 2010 ArtPrize winner and Aquinas faculty member, Chris LaPorte. The exhibit highlights two different mediums - figurative painting and sculpture - provoking viewers to project and reflect on his or her own senses of self, nature and wholeness within the human figure. The artists have exhibited across the nation, as well as in Canada.

After two years performing his highly praised show, It Was Me, honoring the songbook of famed lyricist Norman Gimbel at New York's Don't Tell Mama, Bistro Award-winning vocalist and BroadwayWorld.com 'Best Male Vocalist' nominee Jeff Macauley presented a new show this past spring at New York's Metropolitan Room. In Mr. Lucky: The Songs of Henry Mancini, Macauley celebrates the music of the iconic composer. Macauley's orchestra for Mr. Lucky is Award-winning Musical Director/pianist and arranger Tex Arnold, with Jon Burr on bass. Now Macauley is bringing Mr. Lucky to Don't Tell Mama on November 21 at 7 pm.
