Playwright Larry L. King Passes Away at 83

According to published reports, playwright Larry L. King passed away yesterday in his Washington retirement home after a long battle with emphysema. He was 83 years old.

Northern Stage Closes the Curtain on GREATER TUNA, 5/2

Northern Stage's production of the Off-Broadway smash Greater Tuna will end its run May 2nd. This madcap romp features two veteran Northern Stage actors, Scott Cote (Beauty & the Beast, Cabaret, Moon Over Buffalo) and Kevin Loreque (I Am My Own Wife, The Full Monty, CATS, The Elephant Man, Cabaret,) playing 19 characters-men, women, even Yippy the dog-in 90 minutes. With 15-second costume changes and rapid-fire humor, this promises to be an audience favorite.

'Greater Tuna' Director Comes 'Full Circle' At Stage Door

Director Ed Howard, best known for his play 'Greater Tuna' is at the Stage Door Theatre in Coral Springs currently directing the world premiere of 'Full Circle,' a new musical about famed Broadway producer, Arthur Whitelaw. Mr. Howard is not only directing, he also co-wrote the book for the musical, along with Whitelaw.
