MCC Theater annual gala, Miscast, was held Monday, March 10, 2008 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues). Miscast 2008 brought together the best and brightest Broadway talent as they performed songs from roles in which they would never be cast. Lynn Redgrave, currently in MCC's production of Grace, will served as the evening's Honorary Chair. Broadway's Phil Reno provided musical direction.

In the 1979 revival of Oklahoma!, Christine Ebersole insisted that when it comes to men she 'cain't say no,' and this weekend she's showing City Center audiences that when it comes to performing, the same words apply. Despite suffering musical theatre's most talked-about flu since Faith Prince played Miss Adelaide in the last revival of Guys and Dolls (Okay, so Miss Adelaide only has a cold, but you get my point.) Ms. Ebersole is nevertheless positively luminous as Margo Channing in the Encores! staged reading of Applause.

The unique new website for the new Broadway musical A Catered Affair celebrated a launch event on Wednesday, February 6 at 1PM at Sky360° by Delta, Delta Air Lines' experiential pop-up lounge in Manhattan (101 West 57th Street at 6th Avenue). Fans had the opportunity to meet author and star Harvey Fierstein and enjoy Cupcake Café's brand new, signature 'A Catered Affair Wedding Cupcake.' A pair of tickets for this eagerly anticipated Broadway musical were raffled-off to 5 lucky attendees, before they are on sale to the general public.
