The Country Music Association, which recently announced its new international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, has added back-to-back performances at Blue Note Tokyo in Japan on Saturday, March 30 featuring Brandy Clark, Devin Dawson and Lindsay Ell. Prior to Japan, Introducing Nashville will visit multiple cities in Australia and New Zealand with Clark, Dawson, Ell and Tenille Townes (Australia only). McClain has hosted television such TV shows as FOX Family's California Summer Countdown, reporting and anchoring Channel One News; and performed in Beauty and the Beast live at the Hollywood Bowl, Game of Thrones live at the LA Forum, numerous shows at the Disneyland Resort, and multiple performances at the Academy Awards. He also traveled North America touring in over 400 performances of The Lion King (Banzai u/s) for six years. He's crossed the globe singing in countries like South Korea, Spain, Germany, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Argentina, Canada, Australia, and across the Caribbean and back.

Country music's rising up-and-comer, Sandra Lynn, has debuted the music video for her latest single, “My Christmas Wish for You” on CMT Music, CMT.com andCountry Rebel. The encouraging and hopeful track was written by Grammy Award-winning, hit songwriters, Linda Thompson and Richard Marx as well as produced by Grammy Award-winning engineer and producer, Ben Fowler.

It was and American Idol reunion of sorts when Kellie and Ben were visited by Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken on the show airing Monday, December 10th.  They talked about their upcoming Broadway reunion in Ruben & Clay's 1st Annual Christmas Show.  And all three Idols joined together for a little White Christmas.

The Country Music Association will honor the Messina Touring Group's CEO Louis Messina with this year's CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award. Messina received the news personally from Country legend George Strait, who made a surprise phone call last Friday morning. Final voting for the CMA Touring Awards, which highlight vital behind-the-scenes members of the touring industry, closes Thursday, Dec. 13. The CMA Touring Awards will take place Monday, Jan. 28 at Nashville's Marathon Music Works. Jerrod Niemann will return to host the ceremony.

A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS – THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY will be broadcast Friday, Dec. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Host LL COOL J will introduce inspirational stories about children adopted from foster care, and Gwen Stefani, Train and Lukas Graham will each perform. Highlights from the Grove's annual tree-lighting ceremony, including a performance by Andy Grammer, will be featured during the special.

UNIVERSAL KIDS crowned 12 year-old Chef Nikki Bidun of New York City as the season two TOP CHEF JUNIOR winner on Saturday after a gastronomic showdown. The runner-up was 12 year-old Londyn Green from Atlanta, GA. The culinary kid drama, based on Bravo Media's critically acclaimed and Emmy-award winning competition series Top Chef, featured twelve chefs ages 10-13 from across the country.

Los Angeles-based singer Scot Bruce wows fans all over the U.S. and abroad with his unbelievable 1950s & '60s-era Elvis Tribute Show. His uncanny resemblance to the young King of Rock 'n' Roll plus his ability to sing, strum a guitar and swivel his hips has made his show a hit worldwide. Bruce has appeared as Elvis in music videos with Faith Hill and Sheryl Crow, and was heard for years as the 'Resident Elvis' with his pals Mark and Brian on their popular Los Angeles morning radio show. He's also had recurring roles on hit soap operas played the title role in several successful productions of Idols of the King.

It wasn't the Country Music Awards or Grammy Awards at the new Birdland Theater last night but it sure seemed like it. An overflow audience for the Victoria Shaw concert got a surprise as Victoria called up two of her friends who were in the audience……..Desmond Child, and then Kristin Chenoweth each sang a number. Even Jim Caruso who has hosted every famous person on the planet whipped out his cell phone camera for this one.

With postseason football right around the corner, CBS has announced the lineup of late night and primetime shows that will receive big promotional platforms following both the AFC Championship game on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 and SUPER BOWL LIII two weeks later on Sunday, Feb. 3.
