Asolo Repertory Theatre presents the sixth annual New Stages Tour, an FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training production of William Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT, which will perform throughout October and November 2015.

Set in America, Israel, and Palestine, the play follows one man's journey to understand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Davidman's performance is a personal story that grapples with the complexities of identity, history, and social justice. Giving voice to over a dozen different characters, the play sheds light on one of the most entrenched conflicts of our time. The 52nd Street Project makes a difference in the lives of Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. For its One-on-One series, the its cornerstone acting program, the Project takes a group of ten kids out of town to a country retreat for a week in the summer. Each child is assigned a playwright who is charged to write a musical specifically for that child. The shows are rehearsed over the course of the week and performed informally for the community in the retreat setting. Upon returning to Manhattan, the plays are performed at the Project's Five Angels Theater (789 Tenth Avenue, 2nd floor, NYC), supported by professional designers and crews who volunteer their services.
Thanks to packed houses and enthusiastic audience response, Multi Ethnic Theater is extending the run of August Wilson's Two Trains Running for two additional weekends, through September 12. Two Trains Running is directed by Lewis Campbell, founder and artistic director of Multi Ethnic Theater. The play concerns the regulars at Memphis Lee's restaurant trying to fight against the urban renewal that would tear the place down and bulldoze the local African-American community. The production is staged at the Gough Street Playhouse, 1620 Gough Street in San Francisco.

The Actors Fund celebrated Broadway's Biggest Night at the 19th Annual Tony Awards Viewing Party on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Sponsored by Wells Fargo and hosted by Daytime Emmy Award winner and three-time Tony Award nominee Kate Burton, this year's gala raised $250,000 and honored Tony's Leading Men Theodore Bikel ("The Sound of Music," "Fiddler On The Roof"), Tim Curry ("The Rocky Horror Show"), Alfred Molina ("Love Is Strange") and Joe Morton ("Scandal") with the Fund's Artistic Achievement Awards.
