The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving neglected shows from the past, presents the season opener of the Fall 2014 Musicals in Mufti Series: Big, with book by John Weidman, lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and music by David Shire. This presentation of Big marks the New York premiere of the script and score created by the authors for the show's national tour -- a significantly revised version of the show with eight new Maltby and Shire songs, yet to be recorded.
Directed by Michael Unger, with music direction by Eric Svejcar, the cast will feature Tony Award nominees John Tartaglia and Kerry Butler, with Elainey Bass, Whitney Brandt, Walter Charles, Trista Dollison, Liam Forde, Tom Lucca, James Ludwig, Rhyn McLemore, Janet Metz, Julianna Rigoglioso, Jeremy Shinder and Hayden Wall.

This October 2014, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris opens at the Charing Cross Theatre for a strictly limited six-week run from 16 October to 22 November 2014. Press night is set for Saturday 18 October at 7.45pm. Directed by multi-award-winning director Andrew Keates, the production features an all-star cast of Daniel Boys (Avenue Q, Spamalot, Love Story - also well-known from BBC's Any Dream Will Do, 2007), David Burt (The Merchant of Venice, The Beggars People, Plague Over England), Eve Polycarpou (In The Heights, Mother Courage, Jacques Brel - National Theatre, 1970s) and Gina Beck (Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Les Mise?rables).
