BroadwayWorld continues our new series, KID CRITICS, which gives parents and children alike a kid's perspective on Broadway's hottest shows. The cast of the new Off-Broadway revival of the hit musical You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown set down tracks for the new cast recording on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Avatar Studios. The York Theatre Company presented the inaugural College Winter Intensive program this month, offering college students the unique opportunity of taking classes in an off-Broadway theatre near the heart of New York's theatre district during the winter break. William Shakespeare's plays have had many reincarnations over the years but none quite like this one. Broadway Records have produced the world premiere recording of A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream by New Arts: Newtown Musicals which is a summer program by the 12.14 Foundation, a memorial to the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School back in 2012. All profits made by the sales of this album will go directly to the Foundation to support its future work.
