After a popular appearance last fall, City Theatre welcomes back Seth Rudetsky with his brand new show, Seth's Big Fat '70s Show, a City Events special presentation featuring Rudetsky's celebrated, comic "deconstructions," now applied to 1970s variety and awards shows. Seth's Big Fat '70s Show runs in City Theatre's Hamburg Studio Theatre tonight, October 25-28, 2012.

City Theatre announces six plays lined up for its 2012-2013 season. From Fifties rewind to eighteenth-century intrigue-a provocative 1950s fantasy; a vibrant world premiere about Pittsburgh's South Side; a sharp, sexy Broadway hit; a moving, new musical about the hard road to stardom; a heartwarming Irish comedy; and an imaginative tale about The Crucible's infamous seductress.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director), Barry Grove (Executive Producer), and Mandy Greenfield (Artistic Producer) just announced the 2012 recipients of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Initiative commissions for Manhattan Theatre Club. This year's six commissioned writers are April de Angelis (Jumpy), Nick Jones (The Coward), Heidi Schreck (Creature), Melissa Ross (Thinner Than Water), Sarah Treem (A Feminine Ending), and Bess Wohl (Barcelona).

Few people know the real story of football's most legendary coach, Vince Lombardi. Through his inspirations and passions, he had an ability to drive people to achieve more than they ever thought possible. Arizona Theatre Company's "Lombardi" centers on the iconic Green Bay Packers coach during a pivotal week in 1965. This Southwest premiere production of the Broadway hit plays at the Temple of Music and Art and runs from October 20 - November 10, 2012. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from November 15 - December 2, 2012. "Lombardi" is supported by Opening Night Sponsor, Kate Garner. The first gathering of Milwaukee Repertory Theater's Associate Artists happened on Friday, September 28, 2012 at The Rep's Administrative Offices. 18 of the 19 Artistic Associates either attended in person or attended via teleconference. The gathering was to discuss the future of The Rep as well as the responsibilities of this newly-formed group of theater professionals.

History Theatre has announced its 35th season, which will kick-off with the Minnesota premiere of the Broadway hit Lombardi by Eric Simonson. The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) and its Chairman, Hon. John F. Lehman, announced today the winners of the 2012 Princess Grace Awards. The Awards for theater, dance and choreography, and film continue the legacy of Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, who helped emerging artists pursue their artistic goals during Her lifetime. This year's 25 Awards winners will travel to New York City, where they will receive their Awards at the 30th Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala, held in the presence of TSH The Prince and Princess of Monaco, on October 22, 2012 at Cipriani 42nd Street.
