The producers of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA have announced that three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker will join the cast on Broadway as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, Marie, starting September 6 through January 19, 2014. The cast celebrated with a cake from Carlo's Bakery, home of TV's 'Cake Boss.' The musical began previews on January 25 and had its official opening night on March 3. Written for CBS-TV in 1957, this production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA marks the musical's first-eve Broadway production, now in its 5th month of performances. The Friday, May 31st broadcast of WNBC-TV/Channel 4's program 'New York Live' seen weekdays at 12:30 p.m. will feature a backstage interview with CINDERELLA stars Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana.
