OUCH! by Annie Cusick Wood uses the magic of theatre to teach the precious life lesson of compassion. I believe our preschool performances are a perfect venue for exploring how we interact with one another, says Artistic Director Eric Johnson, building empathy towards others is crucial to our development. Our ability to empathize and to heal ourselves and others may be our greatest super power.

Residents of the Grand Rapids, Michigan area and its surrounding communities who are harboring the dream to build, renovate, or maintain a Log Home or Cabin are invited to speak with the industry's top log home and timber frame companies and builders along with industry experts during the Grand Rapids, MI Log & Timber Frame Home Show being held at The Deltaplex Arena, November 10-12.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening with G3: Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Phil Collen. For Joe Satriani's G3 2018 tour, the guitar superstar welcomes fellow six-string legends John Petrucci (of Dream Theater) and Phil Collen (of Def Leppard) for an action-packed, livewire celebration of pure guitar wizardry. Since 1996, Satriani's massively popular G3 tours have brought together many of the world's greatest guitarists (everyone from Steve Vai and Eric Johnson to Steve Lukather and Robert Fripp), and have become a consistent sell-out attraction across the U.S and around the world. Each G3 incarnation has been known for creating its own particular musical chemistry.

Broadway By The Bay closes their 2017 season with the award-winning stage adaptation of one of the greatest musical comedies of all time Singin' in the Rain.

Broadway By the Bay continues its 2017 Season with NEXT TO NORMAL, running August 11 - 27, 2017 at the historic Fox Theatre in Redwood City (2215 Broadway Street, Redwood City, CA).

HTY is excited to begin their 2017-2018 season with a play created by HTY company member Alvin Chan.  Chan's original retelling of the ultimate "girl-power" story, The Ballad of Mu Lan mixes traditional Chinese theatrical techniques with original music for a new take on a classic story!  Not since Chan's Five Chinese Brothers has HTY incorporated this level of acrobatic athleticism, training and live music into a single production. 

"The Power of People" is the theme of the 2017-2018 season at Honolulu Theatre for Youth.  Kicking off in August, the season will feature eight inspiring stories created for Hawaii families.  Artistic Director Eric Johnson says, "This season we will journey to ancient China, re-examine the modern ohana and explore underwater worlds.  What these stories of perseverance, ingenuity, empathy and understanding have in common is that each play celebrates our most precious resource, each other."

The iconoclastic YouTube musician Andy McKee joins classical guitarist Celino Romaro for one-night-only to perform at Poway OnStage April 8, 2017 at 8:00pm. The difference in styles displayed by the two guitarists come together in a night marked by different approaches to the same instrument in this eclectic pairing.

Based on the popular fairytale about a tiny girl born from a flower, the world premiere of Thumbelina, by Y York, is the grand finale production in HTY's 2016-17 season.

Show times are Todays February 11, 18 and 25 at 9:30 and 11: 30 a.m., at Tenney Theatre on the grounds of The Cathedral of St. Andrew. (The 11:30 a.m. performance onSat., Feb. 18 will be ASL-interpreted.)

Honolulu Theatre for Youth and Australia's Terrapin Puppet Theatre have co-commissioned an inventive work by one of Oz's finest playwrights for children. Finegan Kruckemeyer's You and Me and the SPACE BETWEEN is part play, part picture book and all wondrous fun-a magical story of an adventurous girl who lives on a tiny island that's sinking into the sea. Newly opened in October 2016 the Blue Note Napa is a jazz club/gourmet restaurant venue occupying the first floor of the historic Napa Valley Opera House.

Unemployed Eric Swann, has duped the British welfare system for years by claiming every type of benefit for the numerous imaginary tenants "living" in his apartment building.  He's sent scrambling when welfare investigators show up and he is forced to prove all of his boarders are in fact real. A bright comedy full of mistaken identities, slamming doors, and a con that spirals hilariously out of control.
