The Orpheum's Family Series continues with Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Other Treasured Stories on Friday, November 11th at 6:30 PM. Doors open at 5:30 PM and guests are encouraged to arrive early to create a unique show-themed craft.

The inspiring story of Helen Keller and her teacher, as told through contemporary dance, will be shared with Chicago-area children and families this fall when Chicago Children's Theatre presents Thodos Dance Chicago's critically-acclaimed story ballet A Light in the Dark: The Story of Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan.

Jonathan Rockefeller recently released his animated film, 10 Little Rubber Ducks narrated by Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters, on iTunes. The short movie will be available live on demand starting tomorrow, October 11, 2016.

The Woodruff Arts Center announces its sixth Free Family Festival, which will take place on September 11 from 1 - 4 PM as part of the CREATE ATL Family Fun at The Woodruff Arts Center initiative.  The Free Family Festival will feature family-oriented programming led by the Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art. The festival will include live performances from master Jamaican musicians & storytellers, scavenger hunts with Eric Carle's famous children's book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, interactive musical experiences like Pop, Zing, Boom! with Dave Holland of Beatin' Path Rhythm Events and Alliance Live! Hollywood Squares.

Portland Ovations announced their 2016-17 season at Portland's Masonic Temple on Wednesday night to a crowd of just over 150 Members and guests at its Annual Preview Party. Attendees enjoyed food and cocktails before being treated to a special glimpse of the new season, composed of over 30 performances at five different venues, and opening with Tony and Emmy Award-winning chanteuse Kristin Chenoweth on September 29th at Merrill Auditorium.
