A Dark Comedy POUNDING NAILS IN WITH MY FOREHEAD Comes to Montreal 6/2-18

Eric Bogosian's stunning and massively successful 1994 exploration of American urban and suburban life as it exists out of the mainstream is being staged at The Wiggle Room from June 2-18 (see various times below) as part of this year's 2017 St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival. Pounding Nails in the Floor with My Forehead answers the questions on everyone's lips, "How did we get here?!" The show's collection of monologues is performed by stand-up comics and Montreal Burlesque artists.

2017 American Theatre Master Makes His Visit on the Road Less Traveled

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce its newest member to its National Advisory Board, Pulitzer Prize-winning Playwright, Donald Margulies.  On Saturday May 6, the company welcomed its 2017 American Theatre Master, Donald Margulies, on the road less traveled.  The day began with a Q&A session with Mr. Margulies, moderated by RLTP Literary Director Jon Elston at the Road Less Traveled Theater. That evening, Mr. Margulies was guest of honor during a sold-out performance of The Country House.

PAMPLONA, Starring Stacy Keach, Extends at the Goodman

Audiences now have eight more chances to see stage and screen star Stacy Keach in his tour-de-force performance as Chicagoland native son, Ernest Hemingway. Goodman Theatre announces that playwright Jim McGrath's newest work - Pamplona, which begins preview performances tomorrow - has been extended for one week, now closing on Sunday, June 25.

COST OF LIVING Begins Performances Tonight at MTC's Stage I

Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of Cost of Living, the new play by Martyna Majok (Ironbound, Mouse in a Jar), directed by Jo Bonney (Father Comes Home from the Wars; By the Way, Meet Vera Stark), begins performances tonight, Tuesday May 16, at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Latino Theater Company's RULES OF SECONDS Launches Temblors Playwriting Collective at the LATC

Honor! Madness! Blood! Obie Award-winner Jo Bonney directs the world premiere of an edgy, intense and darkly comic new play by John Pollono (Small Engine Repair, Lost Girls) in a Latino Theater Company production presented in association with The Temblors, a unique new collective of seven Los Angeles-based playwrights. Rules of Seconds opens March 23 at The Los Angeles Theater Center, with low-priced previews beginning March 16. 

The Relentless Award Will Send Eight American Playwrights to London Each Year

Official: Long May He Reign! Brian d'Arcy James Will Rejoin HAMILTON in April

The musical HAMILTON's very first King George III, three-time Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James, returns to the role for a limited engagement on Broadway starting April 14, it has been announced by HAMILTON producer Jeffrey Seller. Mr. James created the role of King George when HAMILTON debuted at the Public Theater in 2015.
