BabsonARTS announces its roster of programming for the fall of 2017, including a screening of I Am Jane Doe by Mary Mazzio and a range of visual and performing arts events.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) Founding Artistic Director Steven Maler announced today the 2017-18 Season, to be presented at the Sorenson Center for the Arts at Babson College in Wellesley, as well as in downtown Boston.

Guild Hall will host a concert reading of ERic Bentley's ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN?, featuring James Earl Jones, Matthew Broderick, Bill Camp, Richard Kind, Peter Riegert, Mercedes Ruehl, Barry Scheck, and Harris Yulin, on Saturday, September 9 at 8 p.m. Directed by Harris Yulin.

The Ensemble for the Romantic Century has announced that the 2017-18 season, ERC's 17th, will take place at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between Dyer and 10th Avenues), beginning August 10th with Van Gogh's Ear. Opening Night is set for August 17th. This limited Off-Broadway engagement runs through September 10th only.

HB Studio, one of New York's most venerable institutions for theater training and practice, is shaking things up this year for their annual benefit. This year HB Studio is bringing attention back to its roots, and back to the process of making great theater. Instead of one big benefit bash honoring esteemed alumni and colleagues (such as Fritz Weaver, Austin Pendleton, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, Eric Bentley and David Hyde Pierce, Amanda Peet and Lee Grant, Tony Walton and Katie Finneran, Alfred Molina), HB will be hosting a series of intimate benefit performances featuring notable HB alumni and friends, exclusively produced in the HB Playwrights Theater. Artistic Directors Elise Stone and Craig Smith announce that Phoenix Theatre Ensemble will be presenting 4 staged readings of Eric Bentley's ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN, which is taken from the  actual testimony of witnesses before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) during the late 1940's and early 1950's.

In celebration of this milestone and a century of his contributions to the international theatre world, a special one night-only birthday celebration has been announced: 'Happy Birthday, Eric Bentley! A Centennial Tribute Concert' will take place on December 7, 2015 at 8:00 PM.
