For the fifth production in their 46th annual summer season, Cortland Repertory Theatre will present the regional premiere of the hysterical comedy Nana's Naughty Knickers written by Katherine DiSavino.  Performances will run from August 16 - 26 with evening show times at 7:30. The Cortland Repertory Theatre Youth Program offers performances of a new adaptation of the classic children's story "The Velveteen Rabbit" for all ages.

For the second production in their 46th annual season of professional summer theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the fabulous and flamboyant musical La Cage Aux Folles, which boasts a book by Harvey Fierstein based on the play by Jean Poiret, and music and lyrics by Jerry Herman. As a playwright, Fierstein is well-known for the musical Newsies and the current Broadway production of Kinky Boots; Herman is best known as the composer of Hello Dolly and Mame. While La Cage Aux Folles is a multiple Tony-Award winning musical and one of Broadway's all time greatest hits, the story is perhaps best known as the movie The Birdcage, which starred Robin Williams and Nathan Lane.

Imagine Martha Stewart and Rachel Ray in a knockdown, drag-out Battle of the Cooking Stars! Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle are two low-budget cable-access cooking show hostesses who have hated each other for years, ever since Larry Biddle dated one and married the other. When circumstances put them together on a TV show called 'The Kitchen Witches', the insults are flung harder than the food! Dolly's son, who is also the TV show's producer, tries to keep them on track, but it's a losing battle - especially when the show becomes a ratings smash!
