The original cast and band of Sting's musical The Last Ship reunited on the 54 Below stage earlier this week to celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. According to a recent post by the A.R.T. the show already has plans for Broadway! The theatre auctioned off tickets to the show's opening night on Broadway as a part of its 2015 gala, teasing: 'See it in Cambridge before it heads to NYC!' Casting has not yet been announced, but a recent NYC workshop was led by Tony winner Jessie Mueller, Keala Settle, Bryce Pinkham, Christopher Fitzgerald, Barrett Wilbert Weed, and Eric Anderson.

THE LAST SHIP played its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24, but fans still have another chance to catch the cast in action. Tonight, March 2 (9:30PM), they will reunite at 54 Below for 'Songs in the Quay of Life: THE LAST SHIP Company in Concert.' The original cast and band will celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. Proceeds will go to support Wallsend Boys Club in the north of England, which was founded by shipbuilders.

Manhattan Concert Productions is bringing the Drama Desk and Tony Award-winning score of PARADE back to Lincoln Center, where it all began in 1998. This concert performance of PARADE will feature a chorus of over 200 singers from the across the United States; the enlarged forces of the New York City Chamber Orchestra; and a full professional Broadway cast. THE LAST SHIP - the new musical with music and lyrics by 16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting and book by Tony Award-winner John Logan and Pulitzer Prize-winner Brian Yorkey opened on Broadway on October 26 with overwhelming praise for its emotionally powerful score. Today, December 16, Universal Music Classics releases the Original Broadway Cast Album for The Last Ship, produced by the Emmy-Award winning and multi-Grammy-nominated producer Rob Mathes. The play is directed by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello and choreographed by Olivier Award-winner Steven Hoggett, with musical direction, orchestrations and arrangements also by Rob Mathes.

After a two-month Broadway run, the story of the rockstar rabbi returns Off-Broadway with a pared-down script.

The 88th Annual Macy's THANKSGIVING Day Parade will air Thursday, Nov. 27 - and Broadway's best will be represented!
