On May 16 (9:30PM) Center On The Aisle (#COTA) will present 'We Love Her,' a celebration of one of Broadway's foremost - and its funniest - leading ladies, Tony winner Laura Benanti (currently starring in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of She Loves Me). Conceived and hosted by #COTA's editor-in-chief, and frequent guest on NBC Weekend Today in New York, Steve Schonberg, the night will feature a cast of Benanti's friends and fellow stars who will celebrate this incredible talent with songs and stories from her career (Into the Woods, Gypsy, The Wedding Singer, ABC's Nashville, and more) - and of course, her most 'favorited' Tweets.
Audiences at tonight's preview of WAITRESS got to see a very special performance when part of the set for the diner stopped working. While the show was paused so that the crew could make the necessary adjustments - the show's Grammy nominated composer/lyricist Sara Bareilles got on stage to sing a cut song from the show as well as 'Part of Your World' - a Disney classic by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman.

Pie and hot coffee in cold midwinter will be on order this Monday February 15 at 10 AM when the box office opens for the eagerly anticipated musical Waitress! Choreographer Lorin Latarro has joined the creative team for the Broadway production of Waitress. With her addition, Waitress is the first Broadway musical in history where a traditional four person creative team of book writer, composer, choreographer and director have all been women.* Latarro replaces Chase Brock, who choreographed the pre-Broadway run at the A.R.T.
The PATH Fund's 22nd annual ROCKERS ON BROADWAY 80's REWIND was just held last night, honoring 80's Pop Princess, Debbie Gibson with the Rockers Lifetime Achievement Award and May Pang with the Rockers Ambassador of Rock Award. ROCKERS ON BROADWAY is a fun and unique charity concert that featured Broadway's best rockers performing the biggest hits in 80's Rock n' Roll. Proceeds from the evening benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BCEFA) and non-profit performing arts education programs.
