Kneehigh Theatre Company marks 30th anniversary with revolutionary new performing space and revivals of three classic shows. Kneehigh Theatre Company celebrates its 30th year in 2010, and will do so in The Asylum - a massive, specially commissioned dome tent within which the company can present shows, hold parties, exhibit work and much more.

The Drama League (Jano Herbosch, President; Gabriel Shanks, Executive Director), announced the nominations for the 2009-10 Drama League Awards today at Sardi's with the help of Broadway stars Kelsey Grammer (La Cage Aux Folles) and Bebe Neuwirth (The Addams Family). The 76th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon will take place on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 12:00pm at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square. The event will be co-hosted by Vanessa Williams (Sondheim on Sondheim) and Michael Urie (The Temperamentals).

The Guthrie announced today that Brief Encounter, the runaway hit production from U.K.'s acclaimed Kneehigh Theatre, will extend its stay in Minneapolis through April 10, adding six performances to meet ongoing audience demand. This iconic Noel Coward love story has quickly become one of the most talked about tickets in town, and has played to nightly ovations and critical acclaim since its February 13 opening on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.
