About Kneehigh Theatre's Brief Encounter
Audiences have fallen in love with the production, which uses whimsical humor, dreamy romance and stunning multimedia effects in a jaw-dropping fusion of theater, film and song. Switching seamlessly between live theater and remade film footage, Brief Encounter takes audiences back to the age of romance and the silver screen, where the lives and loves of the three couples are played out in the train station tearoom as a grand entertainment. Using the words (some newly set to original music) and familiar songs of Coward, director Emma Rice creates a breathtaking, funny and tear-inducing show with live musicians on stage, characters jumping in and out of film screens, and a couple in love floating in mid-air. Brief Encounter continues through April 10 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage at the Guthrie. Tickets start at $34.

About Producing House's Coward's Women
A musical celebration of Noël Coward and the women who influenced him, the 65-minute production features Erin Schwab and Maud Hixon, along with pianist Rick Carlson and a dynamic four-piece combo, in a unique look at the famous writer's most defining relationships with some of history's greatest women. Destined to delight in the production fused by 16 of Coward's songs, and featuring his most influential women in their own words, this production will no doubt be a hit with Guthrie audiences. Coward's Women begins performances March 30 and continues through April 3 in the Dowling Studio at the Guthrie. Tickets start at $18.
