SOMETHING ROTTEN! the musical directed by Tim Bair opened on Saturday night November 6 at the White Theatre at the J in Overland Park, KS. The Theatre in the Park Winter Academy presented ZOMBIE PROM, for a limited engagement on Friday, December 28 and Saturday, December 29. The performance would best be described as fabulous, hilarious and one of the most professional young performer musicals to have appeared in Kansas City. Unfortunately for theater audiences, it did only run two days, so it had a limited audience.

Artistic Director Sarah Crawford will direct the production and the remainder of the ensemble includes Chelcie Abercrombie, Samantha Barboza, Patrick Beasley, John Cleary, Cara Hampton, Robert Hingula, Lindsay James, Tom Lancaster, Korrie Murphy, Andrew Schmidt, Emily Vargo, Morgan Walker, and Kayla Wilkins. Jeremy Watson will co music direct alongside Crawford.

January 15th through 17th the Wichita Scottish Rite Signature Theatre presented The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to the delight of local audiences. Director Deb Campbell has done it again.
