The producers of the new Monday night lineup of readings The Circle Series, which opened its doors on Oklahoma!'s stage August 5, have committed to a mix of new and classic works. Launching the classic end of programming on Monday, August 19 is Philip Barry's The Philadelphia Story, a play made famous by Katharine Hepburn's dynamic Tracy Lord in the 1940 film. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced details and complete casting for the world premiere of Novenas for a Lost Hospital, a communal experience created by playwright Cusi Cram (A Lifetime Burning) and Rattlestick's Artistic Director Daniella Topol (Ironbound) and starring Tony Award-nominated and four-time Obie-winning actress Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America, Wit). Novenas for a Lost Hospital sets out to remember and celebrate St. Vincent's Hospital, the 161-year-old Catholic institution that treated victims of calamities from the sinking of the Titanic to September 11th. Guided by Saint Elizabeth Seton (Chalfant) and inspired by the caretakers and patients of St. Vincent's Hospital, this unique event takes a 60-person audience on an uplifting journey from an enclosed West Village garden to Rattlestick's intimate theater to the NYC AIDS Memorial Park. Novenas for a Lost Hospital runs September 5a?"October 13, 2019, at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place) with an opening night of September 19. The Orchard Project is announcing the artists participating in its thirteenth summer theatre residency program. More than 30 artists and ensembles were selected for residencies this summer from nearly 1000 theatre artists and companies who applied.

The Orchard Project has announced the twelve writers, composers, directors and companies for its 2019-20 New York City Greenhouse. Now in its second year, the Orchard Project NYC Greenhouse is a NYC-based accelerator for directors, writers, composers and other generative artists to seed ambitious and unexpected work, form new relationships and develop a new generation of theater. For the Orchard Project, it aims to parlay the strength of support that has set the organization apart and transform it into a resource for its growing network of artists.

Two River Theater announces the lineup of productions for its 2019/20 Season.

QVC, home to the latest and greatest collections from well-known fashion designers and stylists, will once again join forces with Lifetime 's Project Runway All Stars to participate in the fourth season of the popular design competition series. The world's leading video and ecommerce retailer is scheduled to sponsor the famed QVC accessory wall, which designers are able to pull from during each challenge to enhance their designs. There will also be a special QVC challenge for the contestants, and the season's grand-prize winner will have the opportunity to create a collection especially for the retailer.
