BROOKLYN BOWL is bringing a taste of The Big Easy to the Las Vegas Strip this Memorial Day weekend with shows from two New Orleans based bands, Dumpstaphunk and The Soul Rebels. On Sat. May 24 and Sun. May 25 guests will be able to soak up a true Cajun experience with a traditional New Orleans-style crawfish boil including crawfish, shrimp, Andouille sausage, red potatoes, and corn on the cob cooked in Brooklyn Bowl's house blend of spices for only $19. Drink specials will include $6 Hurricanes and $6 Pabst Blue Ribbon beers.
The Midtown Men to Film 5/28 NJPAC Concert for NJTV

The Midtown Men's performance at the majestic Prudential Hall will be taped as a concert special for public television. The 90-minute show, recorded in high-definition, will be offered to public television stations to broadcast nationwide. The concert special will air in the NY metropolitan area starting in December.

Orange County movie fans can look forward to another great summer of free and fun film screenings at Segerstrom Center for the Arts as Movie Mondays returns for its eighth season on the Arts Plaza. Movie Mondays 2014 kicks off with the heartwarming 1935 classic The Little Colonel, starring Shirley Temple. From post Civil War America we head to 1990s London with the sparkling Spice Girls starring in the jet set musical, Spice World. Then it is off to turn-of-the-20th century Paris with the Academy Award®-winning musical Gigi, directed by Vincente Minnelli and featuring some of the most memorable Lerner & Loewe tunes. Continuing with the winner of this year's Audience Favorite Fan Poll, Cabaret, starring Oscar winners Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey. Shirley MacLaine as the eternal optimist in Sweet Charity wraps up the summer film series. Center audiences will have a chance to see MacLaine live when she makes her Center debut on September 20 in her one-woman show.
Lincoln Center Announces OUT OF DOORS 2014 Summer Festival Lineup; Runs 7/20-8/10

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years.
