Irons & Nixon to Host 75th Annual Drama League Awards 5/15

The Drama League (Jano Herbosch, President) is pleased to announce that Jeremy Irons (Broadway's Impressionism) and Cynthia Nixon (Off-Broadway's Distracted at the Roundabout Theatre Company), who first starred together as father and daughter in the 1984 Broadway production of The Real Thing, will reunite this spring to serve as co-hosts for The 75th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Theatre on Film and Tape Archive is to tape for its archives The Irish Repertory Theatre's production of Aristocrats. It was announced previously that Aristocrats has been extended until March 29, 2009.

She also brings to life his friends, his family, and of course Granny Pink, a candy striper of sorts whose wit, compassion, and indomitable spirit transform the lives of those around her. Granny Pink's observations are by turns funny, touching, and profound, and Harris's luminous performance is ultimately a celebration of life.
