On Saturday, May 24th 2014, The Boston Teen Acting Troupe will present a World Premiere staged reading of ANNIE DOESN'T LIVE HERE by local playwright MJ Halberstadt. This reading will be produced, directed and acted entirely by teenagers. The reading will be directed by Jack Serio and performed in The Boston Center for The Arts Plaza Theatre. Admission will be free.

Stoneham Theatre has announced that it has been nominated for four 2014 Elliot Norton Awards. Stoneham Theatre's 2013 production of Thoroughly Modern Millie received all four nods: Outstanding Musical Production, Outstanding Musical Performance by an Actress for Ephie Aardema (Millie), Outstanding Director for Ilyse Robbins, and Outstanding Ensemble.

Rubicon Theatre Company announces a Broadway Cabaret Benefit that will feature Broadway stars Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, The Addams Family and 'Smash') and Megan McGinnis (LES MISERABLES, Little Women and Beauty and the Beast). Talent America's 2001 "Performer of the Year" Brian De Lorenzo presents a tribute to two of the greatest singers of the American Songbook, Frank Sinatra & Tony Bennett in "Sinatra, Tony & Me", Sunday, April 27 and Sunday May 4 at 12 noon, at The Metropolitan Room, 24 W. 22nd Street, New York. Taking the stage with the Bill Zeffiro Trio, De Lorenzo appears in this encore performance following his appearance at Boston's top jazz venue, Scullers Jazz Club.
