North Coast Repertory Theatre Presents One of Time Magazine's Top 10 Plays- Behind the Plain Lives of Two Farmers, a Past That's Anything But... The Drawer Boy

Native Voices at the Autry continues its vital role as the country's only equity theatre company dedicated exclusively to developing work of Native American playwrights with the world premiere main stage Equity production of The Frybread Queen, which runs from Saturday, March 12 through Sunday, March 27, 2011 (previews begin March 9), at the Wells Fargo Theater at The Autry National Center, Los Angeles.

'Fall and Recover,' Irish choreographer John Scott's poignant and mesmerizing work based on the experiences and stories of survivors of torture in Africa, Asia and Rumania, will receive its United States premiere at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre, March 25-April 3, as part of Imagine Ireland. The 55-minute work is a La MaMa presentation.

Julia Martin, a former Forum director, leads the production which opens Saturday, March 5 and runs through Sunday, April 10 with performances Saturdays at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for children 12 and under. Group tickets available; TDF vouchers are accepted. Running time is approximately 50 minutes without intermission; show is appropriate for ages 3-10.

The world-premiere adaptation of LYSISTRATA by the renowned puppet artist, writer and director Theodora Skipitares - which mixes Aristophanes' ancient comic tale about a group of Greek women who withhold sex from their husbands and lovers with video and newsreel footage of actual modern-day international sex strikes -- will be presented by La MaMa ETC in association with Skysaver Productions, with previews starting February 3 prior to an official press opening February 6 at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) in Manhattan.
