Tonight, October 8th, BROADWAY SESSIONS welcomes cast members from AMAZING GRACE.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. 

BroadwayWorld has learned that AMAZING GRACE, the new musical playing at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street), will play its final performance on Sunday, October 25. On that date, the show will have played 24 preview performances and 114 regular performances. Good news, though -- a national tour of the production is being planned by Troika Entertainment, with more details to be announced!

Broadway's new musical Amazing Grace begins previews tonight, June 25, 2015 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street) with an opening slated for Thursday, July 16.

Broadway's new musical Amazing Grace begins rehearsals today. The cast features Tony Award nominee Josh Young, Erin Mackey, Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper, Tom Hewitt, Chris Hoch, Stanley Bahorek, Harriett D. Foy, Laiona Michelle, Rachael Ferrera and Elizabeth Ward Land.

Following the new musical's acclaimed, sold-out world premiere in Chicago, Amazing Grace just announced the full 31-member company returns for the Broadway engagement. Tom Hewitt as 'Captain Newton' joins previously announced stars Tony Award nominee Josh Young, Erin Mackey, Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper, Chris Hoch, Stanley Bahorek, Harriett D. Foy,Laiona Michelle, Rachael Ferrera and Elizabeth Ward Land.

Theatrical plays have been stamped out altogether by conservative censors in a not-so-distant future, and a group gathers for a Commitment Talk to celebrate the death of theater and demonstrate its evils by reading excerpts from the contraband play 'Wyoming.' The young readers find themselves swept away by the power of the theatrical experience, reawakening emotions and igniting imaginations long repressed by a society intent on attacking artistic freedom, and in the end, a battle for the very soul of free expression is waged.

The pre-Broadway World Premiere engagement of AMAZING GRACE, the new musical with music and lyrics by Christopher Smith and a book by Christopher Smith and Arthur Giron, directed by Gabriel Barre (Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party) and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), closes today, Nov. 2, at the Bank of America Theatre (18 W. Monroe). AMAZING GRACE opened Oct. 19 in Chicago.
