EWonline reports that Elizabeth Mitchell has joined the cast of the upcoming NBC series REVOLUTION from creator J.J. Abrams. The casting news will reunite Mitchell and Abrams, who served as executive producer of her previous series, 'Lost' on ABC.

Wolf Trap Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods 2012 season is now on-sale featuring a diverse array of performance genres including kindie rock, Latin, Afro-Caribbean, country, folk, jazz, bluegrass, and pop-rock, as well as Irish dance, ballet, puppetry, and musical theatre.

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Gerald Goehring, Michael F. Mitri and Dorothy Berloni are developing BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE, a new Broadway musical based on the popular 2000 novel by Kate DeCamillo. Casting for a developmental reading is currently underway and set to take place in early March. This is set to be followed by an out of town engagement and Broadway production, the timing of which will be confirmed at a later date.

Aaron Nigel Smith was recently added to the line-up at the Kindiefest public music festival in New York. Students from Brooklyn's own Achievement First East New York Elementary School will join Aaron for a couple of songs during his set at the festival.
