A.D. Players, one of Houston's oldest and largest resident theater companies, is performing its final play, O Little Town of Bagels, Teacakes and Hamburger Buns, at its current home at Grace Theater before moving to a new, $18 million facility in early 2017. Bagels was written by A. D. Players' founder and artistic director Jeannette Clift George in 1984, and has been performed multiple times based on popular demand. Scroll down for photos!

Main Street Theater begins its 2014-2015 Season with Noel Coward's rarely produced drama, Peace in Our Time. MST's production is in collaboration with the University of Houston School of Theatre and Dance and features a company of 24 actors.With previews September 13, 14, and 17, Peace in Our Time opens September 18 and runs through October 19 at Main Street Theater - Rice Village, 2540 Times Blvd. Performances are on Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm plus one Monday evening performance on September 22. His first full-length piece following the war was HEARTBREAK HOUSE, which exposes the devastating aspects of the idle and self-indulgent British upper echelon. Main Street Theater is giving Houston audiences heavy social commentary, featuring Shaw's celebrated wit, with their well-executed production of HEARTBREAK HOUSE.
