For the first time, the CINEMAX drama series BANSHEE and OUTCAST will have panels at New York Comic Con, being held at the Javits Center this October.

Truth be told, one of my favorite movies is Bring It On, the story of competitive cheerleading starring Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, Jesse Bradford and Gabrielle Union - and if I had a dollar for every time I've uttered the phrase 'Brrr…it's cold in here, there must be some Toros in the atmosphere' to my dog following a particularly frigid winter stroll at nighttime...well, I'd be rich. Disney XD has ordered a second season of its popular animated series on the Marvel Universe programming block, 'Marvel's Avengers Assemble' and 'Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.' It was announced today by Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television, at San Diego Comic-Con. Produced by Marvel Television, some of Marvel's most popular super heroes – the all-star Avengers and hard-hitting Hulks – will return to take on their most high-stakes battles yet. Both series are in production and slated to premiere this fall on Marvel Universe on Disney XD.

Eliza Dushku, who also starred in Joss Whedon's short-lived series DOLLHOUSE, announced on Twitter today that she's currently reading the script for the HIMYM spin-off pilot from Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Emily Spivey (Up All Night). Greta Gerwig has already signed on to play the project's lead, 'Sally,' described as a 'female Peter Pan who has never grown up and has no idea of where she's going in life.' She's thinking of calling it quits with her husband of a year, Gavin. She'll lean on her circle of friends for advice and support through the inevitable divorce.'
