The producers of the critically-acclaimed new play THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY announced today that the hit play written by and starring James Lecesne will extend its engagement and now play through Sunday, October 18 at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street). A complete national tour schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

Two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro's critically acclaimed new comedy Clever Little Lies begins previews tonight, September 18th, for a strictly limited 16-week engagement. Opening night is set for Monday, October 12th at the Westside Theatre (Upstairs) (407 West 43rd Street).

The producers of the critically-acclaimed new play The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey announced today that Tony Award winning playwright, performer and activist Eve Ensler will be the next recipient of the Absolute Brightness Award. The Berkshire Playwrights Lab (BPL) will present the next play in the free Staged Reading Series on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 7:30 pm at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center. The play follows Great Barrington's Dig+Dine outdoor dining event. 'Match,' by critically-acclaimed playwright Jennifer Maisel, is the story of a much-needed kidney, the donor and her intentions and the lives the decision to give impacts. 'Mother of the Maid,' a play first presented through Berkshire Playwrights Lab's Free Staged Reading Series, is now in full production at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox.

Joan Raffe, Jhett Tolentino, and Douglas Denoff announced today that two time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro's 'delightfully deceitful' comedy, Clever Little Lies, will play off-Broadway's Westside Theatre Upstairs (407 West 43rd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues), following critically acclaimed, sold-out runs at George Street Playhouse in 2013 and Guild Hall last summer. Starring Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe Award-winner Marlo Thomas and direction by David Saint, Clever Little Lies will begin previews on Friday, September 18th for an exclusive limited engagement through January 3rd, 2016. The official opening night is set for Wednesday, October 14th.

The Old Globe's presentation of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewack and an iconic score by Cole Porter, begins tonight, July 1, on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
