Houses on the Moon Theater Company/HOTM will hold their 20th anniversary gala, “Amplify 2021” on Monday evening, November 8, 2021 at The Loreto Theatre at The Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street, NYC). The evening will honor a champion of unheard voices:  4-time Tony Award-winning Broadway producer Hal Luftig.

Houses on the Moon Theater Company, in association with the Broadway Podcast Network, has announced the release of HOUSES ON THE MOON PODCAST, an original eight episode storytelling series dedicated to amplifying the unheard voice.

Luna Stage will present a free short play festival, The Shortest of Plays for the Shortest of Days on Sunday, December 20 from 12pm through 7:30pm.

Antu Yacob and Rafael Poueriet headline Luna Stage's second play of its 2018-19 MainStage Season, The Assignment by Camilo Almonacid. The play came out of real conversations between perpetrators of gun violence and victims, and explores friendship, loss, and forgiveness. David Winitsky directs The Assignment for a limited two-week engagement, opening Saturday, December 1.

It's a celebration! Houses on the Moon Theater Company (Emily Joy Weiner, CoFounder & Artistic Director; Kevin Connor, Managing Director) celebrated the Opening Night performance of the world premiere of The Assignment, an original play by Camilo Almonacid, developed by Houses on the Moon Theater Company, a co-production with Rhymes Over Beats, on Saturday evening, April 22, 2017 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street).

Playwrights Theatre will present two programs during the New Jersey Theatre Alliance Stages Festival. The Stages Festival is a month-long, state-wide celebration of theatre and the performing arts - a project of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance and its membership.
