Paula Brancati, Lauren Collins, Wendy Crewson, Cynthia Dale, Andrea Martin, and Louise Pitre are officially set to be the first cast of the Toronto production of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE. As in the initial New York staging of the play by Nora and Delia Ephron, the production will feature a company of six that rotates in four-week cycles. The next cast will be announced in the next upcoming weeks.

The New York Times is reporting that EVITA is officially set for a Spring 2012 revival, produced by Hal Luftig and Scott Sanders, directed by Michael Grandage (who directed the recent London revival) and starring Elena Roger and Ricky Martin.

We have been approached from a local (Hendra) composer-playwright seeking aspiring actors and one or two actor-singers for a new work she has entered in the 'Fresh' New Theatre Competition. In particular, she is looking for someone who sings, acts and looks passably like Edith Piaf. Anybody that can assist with sound engineers or set designers would be welcome as well.

Colin Farrell and Marion Cotillard are attached to star in David Cronenberg's 'Cosmopolis,' according to a report on Variety.com. The film is an adaptation of Don DeLillo's novel of the same name.

The 2010 Festival of New American Musicals, a three month musical theatre festival, will be held May 16 through August 21 2010, throughout Southern California. Marcia Seligson, Bob Klein, and Linda Shusett are the Executive Producers of the annual festival, now in its third year.

The well known chanteuse Barb Jungr makes her Little Angel debut with a brand new production for children from three years up and their families. Little Angel's Artistic Director Peter Glanville directs. Puppet design is by Roger Lade, scene design by Anne Tilby and lighting design by David Duffy.

This Sunday's Everything Old is New Again will be featuring the music of Paul Robeson. The program can be heard every Sunday from 9-11AM on WBAI 99.5 FM. The upcoming Robeson show will include some of his most popular tunes including: 'Every Time I Feel The Spirit' from Othello, 'Mood Indigo', 'Ol' Man River', 'Going Home' and more.
