Red Fern Theatre Company (Melanie Moyer Williams, Executive Artistic Director, Ken Hall, Managing Director) announced today that the cast of their World Premiere of Sharyn Rothstein's (Lunchblocked with Ars Nova; Camp Monster at Williamstown Theatre Festival) MARCH.

Yara Arts Group, a resident company of La MaMa Experimental Theater in New York, will perform 'Dream Bridge' April 27 to May 13. The work is an original, experimental theater piece featuring Yara artists from New York, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine. The production, created by Virlana Tkacz, is based on a Ukrainian poem 'Dream' by Oleh Lysheha and uses fragments from Shakespeare's 'Midsummer Night's Dream' (mentioned in the poem), as well as the dreams and nightmares of the participants. It features Kyrgyz traditional music, as well as an electronic score by Kyiv composer Alla Zahaykevych. Interweaving performances in English, Ukrainian and Kyrgyz, 'Dream Bridge' is highly visual show and completely accessible to all audiences.

Due to popular demand and rave reviews, JACKIE FIVE-OH! has extended its run yet again at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) through April 4th. In the all-new JACKIE FIVE-OH!, the blisteringly funny, filter-free Hoffman muses on her own decay at 50, her career of playing 'bit' parts, her thoughts about being in The Addams Family and an array of other topics running the gamut from Queen Latifah to Kristen Chenoweth. Hoffman also sings five new original songs (written with musical director Bobby Peaco). Hoffman will also continue in her hilarious, scene-stealing performance as Grandma inTHE ADDAMS FAMILY into the summer.

Playwright Young Jean Lee is earning attention for her new song, 'I'll Be Spending Christmas Alone,' which was recorded with frequent collaborators Future Wife. Lee plans to bring this song and many moore to a new one-woman show at Joe's Pub sometime in spring of 2011. Some lyrics from the new song are below:

Ragtime will play a 3-week limited engagement at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (30-44 Crescent St, Astoria, NY 11102). Performances begin Thursday, February 5th and continue through Sunday, February 22nd.

Conceived and directed by Mallory Catlett, OH WHAT WAR is presented as part of HERE's 2008-09 mainstage season of new multi-disciplinary productions spanning theatre, dance, puppetry and multimedia works. Official Opening is Saturday, September 13 @ 7:30 PM. A fantasy of flagrant disobedience to authority, OH WHAT WAR, is underground entertainment performed by a band of deserters stuck in No Man's Land.
