Under the direction of the creative team from Done + Dusted, the Kennedy Center's new producing partner for the Mark Twain Prize, the cast will feature many of Louis-Dreyfus's admirers, friends, and collaborators, including Stephen Colbert, Bryan Cranston, Tina Fey, Ilana Glazer, Tony Hale, Abbi Jacobson, Keegan-Michael Key, Kumail Nanjiani, and Jerry Seinfeld. Four-time Tony Award Winner Jerry Zaks, (most recently represented on Broadway by the hit revival of Hello, Dolly!) will direct, joined by Tony Award Nominees (for Something Rotten!) John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick (book) and Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick (music and lyrics).
ABC has given a 13-episode straight-to-series order to a new crime drama starring Poppy Montgomery, produced by ABC Studios and ABC Studios International in partnership with M6. Montgomery will also executive produce the series, which is based on her idea, along with Ken Sanzel, who will write the series as well as serve as showrunner.
Digital star Jimmy Wong and Doua Moua have been cast as Ling and Po, respectively, in Disney's live-action Mulan adaptation, according to Variety. The film is currently in production and it stars Yifei Liu as Mulan.
Production on Disney's “Mulan,” a live-action adaptation of the studio's 1998 animated feature, has begun. The film will shoot on locations in New Zealand and China and will open in U.S. theaters on March 27, 2020.

Netflix announced today that Emmy Award winner Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele, Friends From College) will be co-starring in Dolemite Is My Name! alongside Eddie Murphy. The film is based on the real life story of Rudy Ray Moore and stars Eddie Murphy as Moore. Key will be playing Jerry Jones.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hip-hop artist turned actor T.I. (aka Clifford Harris), who next appears in Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp, is in talks to join Eddie Murphy in Dolemite Is My Name!, Netflix's biopic of envelope-pushing comedian and film producer Rudy Ray Moore.
