With the new Tom Patterson Theatre taking shape on the banks of the Avon River, the Stratford Festival is thrilled to announce key casting as it builds the acting company for its monumental 2020 season.

Rich or poor, the whole family will be hood-winked by Ross Petty Productions' original musical, LIL' RED ROBIN HOOD this holiday season. After 23 years of holiday cheer in Toronto's historic Elgin Theatre, Ross Petty Productions' 2019/20 Family Musical is moving to the Winter Garden Theatre on the 6th Floor of the same venue. The Winter Garden has a uniquely magical forest setting that inspired the creation of our brand-new 24th production, LIL' RED ROBIN HOOD, onstage November 29, 2019 to January 4, 2020.

Ross Petty Productions is delighted to announce the world premiere of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, The Family Musical with a Scrooge Loose will be held over until January 5, 2018. On stage now at the Elgin Theatre, holiday hilarity will ensue for two additional performances on Thursday, January 4 at 7pm and Friday, January 5 at 2pm.

It wouldn't be a holiday season in Toronto without a Ross Petty show - and this year's Sleeping Beauty is, as always, the perfect night out for the entire family.

As previously announced, Hilary Farr of HGTV's Love it or List It will star as the unfairest of fairies, dead set on renovating and re-designing the Kingdom of Torontonia in her own grim image.AJ Bridel (Kinky Boots) is Sleeping Beauty, the Princess Rose. Being blessed with beauty, light and harmony is not enough for Rose and her squad goals. She wants to help the less fortunate creatures of the kingdom by opening an ogre orphanage or a unicorn sanctuary. James Daly (Master Harold and the Boys, Uncle Vanya/Shaw Festival) is Luke the lutist, Rose's shy music instructor who is part troll, but doesn't think he has a chance with her Highness.

Stepping in to share the ugly crown with punked-out evil stepsister Shakiki, played by Cleopatra Williams (Jersey Boys, We Will Rock You), is Petty Panto alumni Bryn McAuley. Bryn landed her breakout role at the age of seven playing the title character in the animated tv series Caillou, and has since gone on to voice more than 40 different characters.
