Throughout April and May, DSI Comedy Theater set out to find the funniest comic in North Carolina during their fourth annual Carolina's Funniest competition.

When ImprovBoston set out to find a new Managing Director early this year, they had several ideas of what that person would look like. They were looking for someone who would solidify ImprovBoston's reputation as the place to see and learn comedy in the area, someone who could capitalize on the company's artistic success, and someone to help elevate the company's reputation nationally and broaden the reach of their Corporate Services.

There was a unique gathering of friends last night at Feinsteins. The room was packed with FRIENDS of Jamie deRoy. FRIENDS of Jamie the Broadway Producer, FRIENDS of Jamie the singer/actor, FRIENDS of Jamie the TV host, and FRIENDS of Jamie from every segment of show business. They came to enjoy another addition (20th year) of her award winning show Jamie deRoy & Friends.

On March 21, Moira Danis will perform as part of the Any Wednesday series at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center.

Actresses Eileen Fulton & Marilyn Sokol, comedian Eddie Brill, and songwriter David Friedman are among the guests chosen to announce the nominees for the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs' 21st Annual MAC Awards, this Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at 1:30pm at Barnes & Noble, Lincoln Triangle (at 66th Street).
