The 7th Annual New York Underground Comedy Festival (www.nycundergroundcomedyfestival.com ) will take place from October 3rd - 12th. It will feature over 50 comedy-related events from stand up comedy showcases to writing / comedy workshops. Show venues include: Gotham Comedy Club, Comic Strip Live, Bleecker Street Theatre, The Underground Lounge, Broadway Comedy Club and the Laugh Lounge.

Some of this year's NYUCF shows include: David Letterman Auditions, Under 25 Show, 80's Comics, Fine, Funny & Female, Emerging Comics Competition, Master Stand-Up Series, Stories from the Road, Side Show Acts, New York's Funniest Reporter, A Tight Five, Strat Room Comics. Obama Comedy Duel, Gay Comedy, the Pajama Party Show, Grand Extravaganza, and much more.

Festival comedians this year include: Robert Kelly (HBO's "Tourgasm"), Rick Overton (Emmy Award Winning Head Writer For HBO's "The Dennis Miller Show"), Billy the Mime ( The Aristocrats), John Fugelsang ("All The Wrong Reasons" off Broadway) Kira Soltonovich (NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno ), Alonzo Boden (NBC's Last Comic Standing), Eddie Brill (CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman"), John Henton (Fox's "Living Single"), Jim Mendrinos (Comedy Central and author of "An Idiots Guide to Comedy Writing"), J.son (Naked Boy News) Carole Montgomery (Nick @ Nite's Funniest Mom in America 3), Taylor Mason (HBO, The Gospel Channell), Leighann Lord (Comedy Central's Premium Blend), Vinnie Brand (Fox's RedEye), Vanessa Hollingshead (Comedy Central & World Tour), Charlie Viracola (Conan O'Brian)and over 100 additional top comedians.
