Seattle audiences will have the exciting and free opportunity to meet Emmy Award-winning television star Kathie Lee Gifford when she previews her new musical Saving Aimee to the Emerald City at 7:00 PM, Saturday, September 10, at The 5th Avenue Theatre (1308 5th Avenue) as a part of the company's popular Spotlight Night series.

Audience favorite, Lennie Watts, who last appeared on stage at Theatre By The Sea as Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls (2000) returns in the lead role of Man in Chair in Ocean State Theatre Company's upcoming production of The Drowsy Chaperone, which opens on August 19.

Broadway luminaries Carolee Carmello, Judy Kaye, and Roz Ryan will grace The 5th Avenue Theatre stage under the direction of David Armstrong in the West Coast premiere of Saving Aimee, a soul-stirring new musical with book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford, and music by David Pomeranz and David Friedman.

Last night, March 15, The Actor's Fund presented a one-night-only benefit performance of VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, a stage adaptation of the 1967 film, at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College. The evening will benefit their programs and services.

Reichard Replaces Bell in VALLEY OF THE DOLLS Tonight

Due to an illness, Daniel Reichard will replace Hunter Bell as Ted Casablanca and Mel in the one-night-only benefit performance of VALLEY OF THE DOLLS tonight, March 15, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. This stage adaptation of the 1967 film will take place at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College (899 Tenth Ave.)

On Monday, November 30, The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company presented the fifth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, was be presented by Eric Schaeffer of the Signature Theatre in the Penthouse Lobby of The American Airlines Theater.

Evan, Hunt, Rivette & Dixon Lead TUTS' LES MISERABLES 3/24 - 4/5

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is delighted to announce that full casting is complete for LES MISERABLES, the recent addition to the TUTS 41st season! Les Miserables, which takes place of the previously scheduled Meet Me In St. Louis, will play for two weeks, March 24 - April 5, 2009 at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Houston.
