Lyric Theatre, Oklahoma's premiere professional theatre company, announces its 46th season of musicals, including The Sound of Music (June 24-28); Swing! (July 8-12); Seven Brides For Seven Brothers (July 22-26); and Urinetown, the Musical (August 5-9).

 

The Sound of Music will star Marissa McGowan as Maria (Broadway: Cosette, Les Misérables) and Ed Watts as Captain Von Trapp (National Tour: Adam, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers). The production will be directed by Nick Demos, choreographed by Bill Szobody, and music directed by David Andrews Rogers.

 

Seven Brides For Seven Brothers will feature Elisa Van Duyne as Milly (Broadway: Lily Ann Beasley, 110 in the Shade) and Jim Sorensen as Adam (The Body Beautiful,York Theatre). DJ Salisbury will direct and choreograph;  Scot Woolley will provide music direction.

 

Urinetown, the Musical stars Liz McCartney as Pennywise (Broadway: Rosie, Mamma Mia; Big Sue, Taboo; Miss Flannery, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Dan Sharkey as  Lockstock (Lone Star Love, 5th Avenue Theater), and Seth Rettberg as Bobby (National Tour, Avenue Q) The production will directed and choreographed by Nick Demos, with music direction by Brian Hamilton.
