PlayPenn is pleased to announce two additional events for its 2013 Conference, readings of works-in-progress by playwrights Thomas Gibbons (Uncanny Valley) and Willy Holtzman (The First Mrs. Rochester) on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23, respectively. These works are presented in addition to the public readings of the six plays receiving the full resources of PlayPenn's 2013 Conference, which are scheduled for July 25-28. Both playwrights will benefit from hearing their plays read before a live audience, which will inform the future evolution of their scripts.

The New Group launches its 2013-2014 Off-Broadway season with the New York premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henley's The Jacksonian, arriving in Fall 2013. Directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, this production features Ed Harris, Glenne Headly, Amy Madigan and Bill Pullman. The Jacksonian was first produced at the Geffen Playhouse in 2012. In Winter 2014, as the second production in the company's season, The New Group delivers the world premiere of Thomas Bradshaw's Intimacy, directed by Scott Elliott. The third production of The New Group's upcoming season is to be announced.

RLJ Lodging Trust Expands into Hawaii: Acquires the Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach for $75.3 Million

RLJ Lodging Trust (the "Company") (NYSE: RLJ) today announced that it acquired the long-term leasehold interest in the 399-room Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach (the "Hotel") for a purchase price of $75.3 million, or approximately $189,000 per key. The purchase price represents a forward capitalization rate of approximately 7.8% based on the Hotel's projected 2014 net operating income. The Company purchased this asset with cash available on its balance sheet.
