Today's July 28 show is a part of the 'This is Hip Hop' series and will be hosted by EOW with DJ Evil Dee and DJ JS-1. The show runs from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in Central Park with a recommended arrival time of 2:00 p.m.

The second edition of Art Wynwood, the Wynwood Art District's highly anticipated international contemporary art fair hosted by Art Miami LLC, closed its doors Monday, Feb. 18, following sales by more than 90 percent of participating galleries and more than 27,500 visitors - an increase of more than 4,000 from last year's inaugural fair. Once again the five-day fair was held during President's Day Weekend coinciding with the Yacht & Brokerage Show. DIE: Roll to Proceed opened this week as a part of the WiredArts Fest. Taking place at the Secret Theatre in Queens, WiredArts Fest gives artists, producers and writers access to a global audience. The WiredArts Fest is a live-streamed performing arts festival where the audience is global, seating is unlimited and online viewers can participate in live chat discussions, interact through Twitter and Facebook, while the performance is happening.

Tomorrow, February 13th the acclaimed jazz vocalist will be the featured artist in the popular Jazz in the Gables series; on February 15th she will perform live on WLRN's South Florida Arts Beat; and from March 8th through March 24th she will reprise her role as Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill at the Miami Beach Stage Door at the Byron Carlyle Theatre.

The diversity within the city is immense but assimilating immigrant refugees into the greater culture of Israel presents many challenges. Recently the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee and FST joined forces to bring a very special program to the children of Kiryat Yam. 'We are all in this together, for the children' was the running theme of the WRITE A PLAY trip to Kiryat Yam, Israel last month.

Elektra recording artist Ed Sheeran has announced plans for his biggest U.S. headline tour to date. The 2013 trek gets underway tonight, January 17th at Houston's House of Blues and then continues through mid-February (see itinerary below).
