Matthew McConaughey is back at the helm of Wild Turkey Bourbon's advertising, ready to testify in his newest creative effort for the iconic bourbon. Wild Turkey today unveiled its second television commercial directed by and starring the Academy Award -winning actor. The commercial, created in partnership with J. Walter Thompson New York, is a continuation of the legendary bourbon brand's global marketing campaign titled "It'll Find You." Wild Turkey tapped McConaughey to serve as Creative Director in 2016, and he has since demonstrated his vision via content that reintroduces the world to the all-American brand. As reported in Gruppo Campari's 2017 first half results, the Wild Turkey portfolio has grown globally by 14.6%, driven in part by the success of this well-received campaign. Matthew Mitcham burst onto the cabaret scene in 2014 with the refreshingly real, multi-award-winning musical comedy, Twists and Turns and in 2017 he returns with a brand-new show, UNDER THE COVERS, 19th to 23rd July at Sydney's Hayes Theatre Co.

Complete casting has been announced for Anne of Green Gables-The Musical at The Charlottetown Festival. The Adam Brazier-directed production is undergoing a major three-year revival, with new sets, costumes, sound design, even a new Green Gables house, and many more surprises to be unveiled over the next three summers.

On Saturday, May 6th, McCarter Theatre Center will host its 40th annual Gala Benefit, which supports McCarter's many ongoing artistic and educational missions here in Princeton and around the region. There are three new events being unveiled at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Thursday evening: Lit Live, a new local production company, And Lightning Struck, a new play written by the eminent local actor and producer Robert Weibezahl, and a new director, 21-year-old Austin Robert Miller. The show plays for only four performances this weekend. We spoke with Weibezahl and Miller about their new creation, a play about creation itself, the subject being the story behind the writing of one of the most famous novels in English literature, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

As Milwaukee Chamber Theatre prepares for its 42nd season, the company is excited to announce two changes within its administrative team. Beginning this summer, education & literary manager Marcella Kearns will become MCT's associate artistic director, working directly with producing artistic director C. Michael Wright. Centenary Stage Company has announced the cast of Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize winning comedy, Harvey, running October 3rd through the 19th in the Sitnik Theater located in the David and Carol Lackland Center on the campus of Centenary College.

I was privileged to see American Ballet Theatre performing Giselle twice this season.
