Ars Nova Presents World Premiere of BLOODSONG OF LOVE, 4/1-5/9

Ars Nova, under the leadership of Artistic Director Jason Eagan, will present the world premiere of the new musical BLOODSONG OF LOVE with book, music & lyrics by multi-award winner Joe Iconis, and directed by John Simpkins. BLOODSONG OF LOVE, which was commissioned and developed by Ars Nova, will begin previews on April 1st prior to an official press opening of April 15th at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues) in Manhattan.

NYU Workshops PARTY COME HERE At The Players Theater

New York University's program in vocal performance will present a workshop production of the new musical Party Come Here -featuring a book by Daniel Goldfarb (Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, Radio Girl) and music and lyrics by David Kirshenbaum (Summer of '42, Vanities)-at the Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street [Subway: A, B, C, D, E, F, V (West Fourth Street)].

Joe Iconis and Michael R. Jackson Play Joe's Pub, 2/20

Tonight at Joe's Pub, musical theater writers Joe Iconis and Michael R. Jackson will present a stripped down night of their incendiary tunes. No rock band, no cast of thousands- just the boys and a piano and their music. A couple of special guest stars (including the raw Molly Hager and the ragged Jason 'SweetTooth' Williams) will join the boys for a concert that is sure to shock, bother, offend, and titillate.

NYPL's Songbook Series to Feature Joe Iconis, Krysta Rodriguez, and More on 1/25

Broadway star Krysta Rodriguez and composer Joe Iconis have been announced as artists for the upcoming New York Public Library Songbook Series, taking place January 25th. Additional casting includes Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Lance Rubin and Jason 'SweetTooth' Williams, all members of what is affectionately known as the Joe Iconis 'Family.'
