Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Katie Rose Clarke on November 11th, at 9:30pm. Broadway leading lady Katie Rose Clarke returns to Feinstein's/54 Below for an intimate night of song to help raise money for Art House Astoria, a 510(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission of providing quality arts education to Queens and NYC communities.
Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. The National Theatre todau announced special encore National Theatre Live broadcasts of their acclaimed hit & 3-time Olivier Award nominated production of Frankenstein, a new play by Nick Dear based on Mary Shelley's novel, directed by Danny Boyle, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, in select cinemas worldwide in June & July 2012.
Matilda the Musical, produced by the RSC and running at the Cambridge Theatre, leads the way with ten nominations - the maximum number of eligible awards for a musical this year. These notably include a collective nomination for Best Actress for all four young actresses who play the title role. Amongst other musical theatre productions Ghost The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre and the National Theatre's London Road have five and four nominations respectively.
